On April 23 KST, YG Entertainment announced that their newest girl group BABYMONSTER has been making waves in the music industry. The group's track "SHEESH" has skyrocketed to 9th place on the HOT 100 chart of 'Melon,' Korea's leading music platform. 

Impressively, it surged to the 14th spot on the Melon Top 100 chart, known for its stringent ranking criteria, marking a rare achievement for a rookie group. Music enthusiasts have been praising BABYMONSTER for their remarkable live performances, which have contributed to their growing popularity.

Apart from Melon, "SHEESH" has also garnered significant attention on other major domestic music charts. The track topped Naver real-time rankings and secured a prominent position on Bugs. Additionally, Genie and Flo witnessed a substantial surge in BABYMONSTER's record-breaking popularity.

The group's success extends to the global stage as well. Their presence on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, has remained consistent for 21 days. Moreover, BABYMONSTER achieved new milestones by reaching the 23rd and 49th positions on the Billboard Global Excl. US and Billboard Global 200 charts, respectively.

BABYMONSTER made a remarkable debut with their first mini-album 'BABYMONS7ER'. The album witnessed exceptional sales, surpassing 401,287 copies in just one week, setting a new record for debut albums by K-pop girl groups. Furthermore, the music video for the title track "SHEESH" garnered over 100 million views on YouTube within 10 days, setting a new benchmark for debut songs by K-pop girl groups.
